About Akbuk
With the sea to one side and forest of Olive and Pine surrounding the town, Akbuk is an ideal location.
Situated on the coastline between Bodrum and Kusadasi. Akbuk enjoys an average of 300 sunny days a year, with the cool breeze from the surrounding hills to offset the high summer temperatures. Serviced by the airports of Bodrum and Izmir, the resort is a popular tourist destination. Steeped in history, Akbuk is close to many Roman and Greek historical sites, such as, the house of the Virgin Mary, Ephesus and Didyma.
The harbour at Akbuk is a centre for boat trips to the nearby islands and bays, together with an abundance of fishing and pleasure trips.
Although Akbuk retains the atmosphere of a quiet, laid back holiday destination, the availability of truly international cuisine is all around. Food in general is much cheaper than in Britain and the way of life much more relaxed.

Akbuk is a small harbour town, an hour’s drive from Bodrum airport in the Aegean part of Turkey. Akbuk is a relatively new tourist location that maintains its peaceful laid back setting.
It is surrounded with pine tree forests and mountains, the harbour town has several restaurants and bars all stretching along the beautiful waters edge and facing out towards the Akbuk cove. The front has a beach and promenade which offers lovely walks and views.
About 25 mins away by car or bus, there is the resort of Altinkum, which offers a livelier scene with bars, shopping and nightclubs. Just outside Altinkum there is also a water park which is great for families.
There are also many historical places of interest in and around the area notably, the Temple of Apollo, the ancient town of Miletos and the City of Ephesus.
Sleeping :
Each apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin. Sleeps 4 in total.
The two apartments are adjacent to each other so larger groups could be catered for.
Bedrooms are fully furnished, bed linen and towels are provided. No pool towels.
Bathrooms :
1 Family bathroom + 1 en-suite off master bedroom.
Eating and Living :
There is ample room in the lounge / dining area and the dining table seats four.
To prepare food you will find a 4 ring stove, a fridge freezer, a kettle, a toaster. There is also a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. Cutlery, crockery, glassware & cooking utensils are also provided.
Air Conditioning :
Each apartment has aircon throughout.
Smoking :
Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. Outside no problem.
Pets :
Strictly no pets.
Wheelchairs :
The apartments are not suitable for wheelchairs.

Booking Notes :
£100 Security deposit required payable back after condition of apartment checked.
Balance required 8 weeks prior to departure.
Cancellation by clients (refunds) :
Within 8 weeks – 60% refund.
Within 6 weeks – 40% refund.
Within 4 weeks – 20% refund.
Within 2 weeks – No refund unless the property can be re-let.
Airport Transfers :
Bodrum (Milas airport) 75Km - 1½ Hours.
Izmir (Adnan Menderes airport) 145Km - 2½ Hours.
We can supply a list of transfer and tour companies if required.
Travel Insurance :
With potential medical liability and airline cancellation risks involved in holidays, travel insurance is important, as deposits and rental payments are not refundable (see section on cancellation charges). We highly recommend you purchase an all inclusive insurance package, which covers all your expenses if you need to cancel your holiday due to personal reasons, or interruptions to flights/travel arrangements, whether industrial action or act of god.
Liability :
The owners will not be responsible to refund any unused portion with respect to accommodation, including any substitution. The owners disclaim any and all liability for personal property being lost, stolen or damaged, personal injury or death, or any issues arising from local/national utility supplies.
This property is inspected before your arrival and on your departure, you will be liable for any costs to replace or repair damaged or lost items, or excessive cleaning. The renters are liable for the safety of themselves and any other guests whilst staying in the accommodation and when using terraces, balconies and any public spaces on the complex.
